PC for 3 year olds: It takes a virtual village

If you thought it was just teenagers losing their lives to the internet and grandmas going on sexual overdrive on worldsex.com then think again. Looks like PC manufacturers have just chanced upon a whole new market. The 3-6 year olds! Outrageous you might think, but with the growing number of kiddies getting hooked on to the thousands of games and Barbie sites online, you couldn’t possibly blame them for being opportunists.
Looks like moms and dads of newborns are going to muster books on children’s privacy while cooking up weird names for them. Hyper-conservative parents are not going to like this. That calls for quite some preparation I guess, psychologically. But I’m sure the little ones are not complaining. I, for one, have these little cousins who spend hours together on Barbie.com or well, even sophisticated game sites for that matter. I’m sure these PCs for the 3 year olds that they are coming up with, will be loaded with firewalls and blockings to all the dirty sites, but hey c’mon, by the time they decided to explore that part of the universe, you won’t be in a position to argue with them.
To kickstart the trend, HP plans to introduce custom PCs for families with young children. Talk about leading the way.
